A challenging task was presented when Peak Handyman encountered a broken copper drain line from the kitchen sink in a Trenton home. This malfunction had caused leakages onto the finished basement ceiling, leading to severe swelling and eventually collapse. The mission of drain line repair and drywall replacement, consisted of excising an 8ft damaged section of the copper pipe and flawlessly soldering in a new piece. Once the repairs were exhaustively tested, new framing was put up and drywall hung. To achieve a cohesive look, tape and mud were applied, left to dry, and the final coat spread on to match the existing ceiling texture. The room was successfully restored to its original, usable condition, much to the client’s pleasure. Get an estimate today!
