Our team at Peak Handyman recently completed a Deck Repair project in Hamilton where the original platform and steps had suffered from wood rot and separation. The client requested for a larger replacement to facilitate easier access to and from the house. We set about the task by first removing the old platform and stairs, after which a new, larger platform was installed. We also put in new concrete footers and a new ledger board attached to the house. The structure and stair stringers were framed up with Pressure Treated lumber, while Trex composite boards were used for the decking. The handrails, custom-built using 3/4″ aluminum spindles with a black finish, complemented the look perfectly. We added a finishing touch with solar-powered light caps on the posts. The client expressed great satisfaction with our Deck Repair Service. Interested in doing something similar? Get an estimate today!
